Trucker Slang: Top 20 Funny Sayings
Knowing CB lingo has always been part of being a trucker. Movies like Smokey and the Bandit or Convoy would be pretty boring without the code. With our world full of iPhones and GPS, the art of communicating on the Citizens Band radio is dwindling; at K&J Trucking, we love trucker slang. Read on to remember the good 'ol days, learn some industry jargon, or just for a good laugh!
1. Town Clown—Local Police Officer
There are all sorts of codes for Police Officers—most notably, bear. Names like town clown help differentiate between the bears!
2. Motion Lotion—Fuel
Every trucker out there has an opinion on whether gasoline or diesel trucks are better. No matter the truck, you still need some motion lotion to keep you going!
3. Skate Board—Flat Bed Trailer
This one is pretty self explanatory, so we figured we'd include the best load out there: trucker pets.
4. Jumpy Juice—Coffee
This essential is also sometimes referred to as go-go juice!
5. Wiggle Wagon—Truck with More Than One Trailer
Sometimes trucks with just one trailer wiggle, so it makes sense the more trailers there are the more wiggling that will happen!
6. Organ Donor—Motorcyclist without a Helmet
While this one is a little vulgar, it is a great reminder to drive safely!
7. Salt Shaker—Snow Plow
Salt shakers are just as important on the road as they are on the dinner table!
8. Gator Guts—Shredded Tire in the Road
Something as common as gator guts had to make the trucker slang list!
9. Evel Knievel—Police Officer on a Motorcycle
10. Turtle Race—Speed Limit Under 45mph

Sometimes spending long amounts of time in your truck, especially in hot summer months and cold winter months, is difficult. Nap traps are great... as long as you can escape!

15. 3s and 8s—Love and Kisses
